Alphonso Scholarship Fund, Inc. partners with primary schools in rural areas which trends show are the most susceptible to having students experience a digital divide. In addition to leisure digital activities, this also means children may not have access to enrichment, academic, and socioemotional resources online.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, disparities among children, such as the digital divide, were amplified for students living in rural areas. ASF partnered with Aspirar, a local nonprofit organization, to provide data plans for children from low-income households across two primary schools, Students received months of free access to the internet which bridged interruptions to their education while learning remotely.
